- Typing assistant detects all the keystrokes pressed in any application and analyzes text input to predict what user wants to type next.
- Typing assistant works with different kinds of datasources and starts to search across available data sources, as soon as a a minimum length of characters have been typed in. The search results are displayed as list in the suggestion window. Autocompletion feature can suggest words, phrases, templates, shortcuts, files and folders as user types in.
- Word/Phrase Autocompletion uses partial matching search. If a word/phrase in the dictionary contains the typed text, the word/phrase is displayed as one search result in suggestion window. Partial matching search can trigger sometimes more results than expected, such as when searching for "get" finds "get" and "forget". Word/phrase autocompletion is described within typing assistant chapter.
- The autocompletion feature for templates, shortcuts, files and folders are explained in each respective chapters.
- Please note that system word/phrase autocompletion and user wordlist autocompletion are executed automatically, while resource autocompletion needs to be invoked manually.
- Typing assistant supports English language by default. German language package can be installed optionally. The autocompletion feature for words and phrases is based on built-in static dictionary as source for search. User can add new word or phrase into user custom wordlist. Please note that the new word and phrase are saved in seperate wordlist file and the wordlist file is treated like one seperate data source.
- In addition to the autocompletion, typing assistant provides simple but powerful tools for various text operations in any applications, so that every application can be extended with these additional editing tools.
- Typing assistant uses Unicode and supports for example Asian characters as well.
Benefits

Note about autocompletion
-
Typing assistant uses partial matching search to find suggestions and may cause moderate CPU load. Autocompletion can be disabled via configurations.
-
If user ignores the suggestion and just keep working, the suggestion window disappears again. Mywe is designed to make user work more effective and not to interrupt work.
-
Template with Asian characters in its name cannot be found via autocompletion when typing, in this case, user needs to use template menu to insert such templates. One alternative to make autocompletion work for Asian characters is to highlight the text and press "space" key while holding "ctrl" key. By using this method the autocompletion is triggered as usual and works for Asian characters as well. When no text is highlighted, by pressing "space" key while holding "ctrl" key the last word is highlighted automatically and the autocompletion is triggered according to the highlighted text.
