Note about template and category
- The name (abbreviation) for a template must be unique and should be easy to remember.
- The template name (abbreviated) should contain only alphanumeric characters, special characters such as "#" or "." should not be used, because these characters hinder autocompletion.
- Category is used to organize templates. Category name should represent the purpose of templates in this category.
Note about template format
- Option for saving template in Microsoft Word format is only available if Microsoft Word is installed on the system and current active application is Microsoft Word.
- Option for saving template in binary format is only available when using "save existing content as a template", in this case, the content in clipboard is saved directly as binary file. When inserting a template with binary format, the binary data is loaded to the clipboard and inserted. Saving template in binary format has the disadvantage that such template cannot be changed in the future.
- It is not recommended to save contents with high-resolution images as template in rich text format, because image objects cannot be saved in compressed form when using rich text format and will cause a significant increase in template file size.
